Centrifugal Series Air Curtain Machine - Energy-Efficient Solutions from China Suppliers and Factory

The FM series air curtain machines from our esteemed China factory are equipped with advanced single-phase capacitor-driven motors, which power high-quality tubular aluminum alloy or reinforced plastic fan wheels. These machines create a uniform curtain-like airflow that effectively reduces and blocks air exchange between indoor and outdoor spaces, optimizing energy efficiency, Our RFM-1 series hot air curtain machines harness the heat generated by electric heating tubes, while the RFM-II series utilizes third-generation PTC heating elements, boasting an impressive electric-to-heat conversion rate of over 98%. With no open flames and no oxygen consumption, these machines provide fast heating, a long lifespan, and enhanced safety and reliability, The RFMS series hot air curtain machines represent the latest in energy-saving technologies from our China suppliers. Utilizing hot water as the heating medium, these machines feature STTL type energy-saving heat exchangers that offer high heat transfer efficiency and low air resistance. Compact, lightweight, and aesthetically pleasing, our products are designed for energy saving with a reasonable structure, easy installation, and maintenance, making them an ideal choice for your indoor climate control needs

    Install

    1
The installation of the FM series and the RFM series is the same. Just loosen the positioning screws at the bottom of the front of the machine body, separate the machine body from the base plate, and then firmly fix the base plate on the door frame or the wall (if not fixed tightly, it will cause vibration and noise). Hang the machine directly on the base plate, and reinstall the loosened positioning screws on the base plate in the original position to fix the machine body.
Note: When hanging the machine, do not forget to install the rubber shock absorbers. For the RFMS type installation, in addition to being the same as the above models, two hanging and fixing devices should be used to level the machine, and it is strictly prohibited to not fix it with the base plate and only rely on hanging. Otherwise, it will cause mechanical vibration and noise, and also affect the service life of the machine. Check the power supply voltage and the cross-sectional area of the selected switch wires to see if they are compatible with the installed air curtain machine.
    2
The RFMS series water and heating air curtain machine is installed on the indoor side of the door or window to prevent water from accumulating in the coil of the heat exchanger and freezing and cracking.

According to the different heat media selected, corresponding water supply and drainage pipelines should be equipped, and the pipelines should be insulated. If using hot water as the heat medium, the lower part should receive water and the upper part should return water. An automatic vent valve should be installed at the outlet of the return water or at the highest point of the main pipe.
    4
Use softened water when using hot water as the medium.
    5
Before each operation of the water and heating air curtain machine, the condensate water in the heat exchanger or the mixed gas should be discharged. Preheat for 10 minutes, then turn on the air curtain. When stopping the use of the air curtain, the water in the coil should be drained completely. When the ambient temperature is lower than 0℃, the water system should not stop heating.
    6
When the water and heating air curtain machine works in winter, the heat source should be able to continuously supply heat to ensure the working state of the air curtain.

    Operation and Maintenance

    1
If any abnormal phenomena or noises occur during the operation of any type of air curtain machine, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
    2
Keep the interior of the hot air curtain clean, especially for the RFM-II PTC type and RFMS water-heated air curtain machines, they should be cleaned regularly of dust on the heaters, heat exchangers and other components.
    3
Generally, after 1500 hours of cumulative use of the air curtain machine, it should be inspected. At the same time, remove the dust on the body, oil stains, and use neutral detergent for cleaning. When cleaning the fan wheel, be careful to prevent the blades from deforming or being damaged. Before inspecting or cleaning this machine, the power supply must be cut off to ensure safety.
    4
When the water-heated air curtain is not in use in winter or during installation and debugging, the water inside the heater should be drained or other anti-freezing measures should be taken to prevent the heater from cracking due to freezing.

    FAQs

Q1: How do I properly fix the air curtain machine during installation?
The machine body must be separated from the base plate first. Fix the base plate firmly to the wall or door frame, then hang the machine and secure it with positioning screws. Failure to fix it tightly may cause vibration and noise.
Q2: What are the special requirements for RFMS series installation?
For RFMS models, two hanging and fixing devices must be used to level the machine. It is strictly prohibited to rely solely on hanging; it must be fixed with the base plate to prevent mechanical damage and noise.
Q3: How should the water pipeline be configured for heated air curtains?
Pipelines should be insulated. For hot water media, use the lower part for water inlet and the upper part for return. An automatic vent valve must be installed at the highest point of the main pipe or return outlet.
Q4: How often should the air curtain machine be inspected?
A comprehensive inspection and cleaning are recommended after every 1500 hours of cumulative use. This includes removing dust, oil stains, and cleaning the fan wheel with neutral detergent.
Q5: How can I prevent the water-heated air curtain from freezing in winter?
When not in use or during ambient temperatures below 0℃, the water system should continue heating or be completely drained. Before operation, preheat for 10 minutes after discharging condensate or mixed gases.
Q6: What safety precautions should be taken before cleaning?
The power supply must be completely cut off before any inspection or cleaning. When cleaning the fan wheel, ensure the blades are not deformed or damaged to maintain balance.
