Centrifugal Series Air Curtain Machine - Energy-Saving Solutions from China Suppliers & Factory
Installation Instructions
- Standard Installation: For FM and RFM series, loosen the positioning screws at the bottom front, separate the body from the base plate, and fix the base plate firmly to the door frame or wall. Hang the machine and secure the screws.
- Vibration Prevention: Ensure the base plate is fixed tightly to avoid vibration and noise. Always install the rubber shock absorbers when hanging the machine.
- RFMS Series Specifics: Use two hanging and fixing devices to level the machine. It is strictly prohibited to rely only on hanging without the base plate, as this affects service life and increases noise.
- Indoor Placement: RFMS water and heating air curtain machines must be installed on the indoor side to prevent the heat exchanger coil from freezing and cracking.
Note: Always check if the power supply voltage and switch wire cross-sectional areas are compatible with the machine specifications before installation.
- Piping & Insulation: Equip appropriate water supply and drainage pipelines based on the heat media. Pipelines must be insulated. For hot water, use lower-part intake and upper-part return.
- Venting: Install an automatic vent valve at the return water outlet or the highest point of the main pipe.
- Water Quality: Use softened water when hot water is the medium to maintain efficiency.
- Preheating: Preheat the machine for 10 minutes before turning on the air curtain. Discharge condensate or mixed gas in the heat exchanger before operation.
- Winter Operation: When ambient temperatures are below 0℃, the water system must maintain continuous heating to prevent damage.
Operation and Maintenance
- Immediate Inspection: Stop the machine immediately if any abnormal phenomena or unusual noises occur during operation.
- Regular Cleaning: Keep the interior clean. For RFM-II PTC and RFMS water-heated models, regularly remove dust from heaters and heat exchangers.
- 1500-Hour Maintenance: Perform a full inspection after every 1500 hours of cumulative use. Clean the body and remove oil stains using neutral detergent.
- Fan Blade Care: When cleaning the fan wheel, handle with care to prevent blade deformation or damage.
- Safety First: Always cut off the power supply before performing any inspection or cleaning tasks.
- Anti-Freezing: During winter or periods of non-use, drain all water from the heater or apply anti-freezing measures to prevent the unit from cracking.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q1: How do I prevent vibration and noise during installation?
A: Ensure the base plate is firmly fixed to the wall or door frame, and always install the provided rubber shock absorbers when hanging the machine body.
Q2: Can the RFMS series be installed by hanging only?
A: No. It is strictly prohibited to rely only on hanging. You must use the base plate in conjunction with hanging devices to ensure the machine is level and stable.
Q3: What is the correct water flow direction for heated air curtains?
A: For hot water heat media, the lower part of the unit should receive the water (inlet) and the upper part should return the water (outlet).
Q4: How often should I perform deep maintenance on the air curtain?
A: Deep inspection and cleaning are recommended after every 1500 hours of cumulative use.
Q5: What should I do if the machine is not used during winter?
A: You must completely drain the water inside the heat exchanger or take other anti-freezing measures to prevent the coil from cracking due to ice expansion.
Q6: What type of cleaning agents should be used?
A: Use a neutral detergent to clean oil stains and dust from the body. Avoid harsh chemicals that might damage the components.
