Centrifugal Series Air Curtain Machines - Energy-Efficient Solutions by China Suppliers and Factory
Install
-
1The installation of the FM series and the RFM series is the same. Just loosen the positioning screws at the bottom of the front of the machine body, separate the machine body from the base plate, and then firmly fix the base plate on the door frame or the wall (if not fixed tightly, it will cause vibration and noise). Hang the machine directly on the base plate, and reinstall the loosened positioning screws on the base plate in the original position to fix the machine body.NoteWhen hanging the machine, do not forget to install the rubber shock absorbers. For the RFMS type installation, in addition to being the same as the above models, two hanging and fixing devices should be used to level the machine, and it is strictly prohibited to not fix it with the base plate and only rely on hanging. Otherwise, it will cause mechanical vibration and noise, and also affect the service life of the machine. Check the power supply voltage and the cross-sectional area of the selected switch wires to see if they are compatible with the installed air curtain machine.
-
2The RFMS series water and heating air curtain machine is installed on the indoor side of the door or window to prevent water from accumulating in the coil of the heat exchanger and freezing and cracking.
-
3According to the different heat media selected, corresponding water supply and drainage pipelines should be equipped, and the pipelines should be insulated. If using hot water as the heat medium, the lower part should receive water and the upper part should return water. An automatic vent valve should be installed at the outlet of the return water or at the highest point of the main pipe.
-
4Use softened water when using hot water as the medium.
-
5Before each operation of the water and heating air curtain machine, the condensate water in the heat exchanger or the mixed gas should be discharged. Preheat for 10 minutes, then turn on the air curtain. When stopping the use of the air curtain, the water in the coil should be drained completely. When the ambient temperature is lower than 0℃, the water system should not stop heating.
-
6When the water and heating air curtain machine works in winter, the heat source should be able to continuously supply heat to ensure the working state of the air curtain.
Operation and Maintenance
-
1If any abnormal phenomena or noises occur during the operation of any type of air curtain machine, stop the machine immediately for inspection.
-
2Keep the interior of the hot air curtain clean, especially for the RFM-II PTC type and RFMS water-heated air curtain machines, they should be cleaned regularly of dust on the heaters, heat exchangers and other components.
-
3Generally, after 1500 hours of cumulative use of the air curtain machine, it should be inspected. At the same time, remove the dust on the body, oil stains, and use neutral detergent for cleaning. When cleaning the fan wheel, be careful to prevent the blades from deforming or being damaged. Before inspecting or cleaning this machine, the power supply must be cut off to ensure safety.
-
4When the water-heated air curtain is not in use in winter or during installation and debugging, the water inside the heater should be drained or other anti-freezing measures should be taken to prevent the heater from cracking due to freezing.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I safely install the base plate for the FM and RFM series air curtains?
A: Loosen the positioning screws at the bottom front of the machine body, separate the body from the base plate, and securely fix the base plate to the door frame or wall. Ensure it is tightly fixed to prevent vibration and noise, then hang the machine and re-tighten the screws.
Q: What special installation requirements apply to the RFMS water-heated air curtain?
A: The RFMS series must be installed on the indoor side of the door or window to prevent water freezing. In addition to the base plate, two hanging and fixing devices must be used to level the machine. Relying only on hanging without fixing to the base plate is strictly prohibited.
Q: What is the correct way to connect water pipelines for water-heated air curtains?
A: Use insulated supply and drainage pipelines. For hot water media, configure it so the lower part receives water and the upper part returns water. Additionally, install an automatic vent valve at the return water outlet or the highest point of the main pipe, and use softened water.
Q: What pre-run procedures should be followed for water and heating air curtains?
A: Before starting, discharge the condensate water or mixed gas in the heat exchanger. Preheat the system for 10 minutes before turning on the air curtain. When stopping, completely drain the water in the coil, especially when the ambient temperature is below 0℃.
Q: How often should the air curtain machine be serviced and cleaned?
A: The air curtain should undergo an inspection and cleaning after every 1500 hours of cumulative use. Clean the body and oil stains using a neutral detergent. Be careful not to deform the fan wheel blades, and always cut off the power supply before starting any maintenance.
Q: How can I prevent the heater of a water-heated air curtain from freezing and cracking?
A: In winter, when the air curtain is not in use or during installation and debugging, make sure to completely drain the water inside the heater or apply appropriate anti-freezing measures. Also, ensure the heat source continuously supplies heat during winter operation.
