    Installation of the Unit

The air conditioning unit should be installed horizontally within the ceiling cavity. The side of the condensate water pipe is allowed to be slightly lower by 0.5% but not higher, to ensure the smooth discharge of the condensate water. There should be sufficient installation and maintenance space around the unit.
The condensate water discharge connected to the unit must have a water seal, and the water seal should have sufficient height.
The connecting pipe of the evaporator is inlet-down and outlet-up. A stop valve and filter should be installed at the inlet.
The air duct connected to the unit needs to be flexibly connected. The water pipe connected to the unit should use a flexible connection. The torque during connection should not be too large to avoid damaging the heat exchanger. The pipeline must have a separate support and the weight should not be borne by the unit.
The motor of the fan should have good grounding. In addition, it should have other reliable protection devices such as overload, overheating, and phase loss.

Operation and Maintenance of the Unit

The cold and hot media should be clean softened water; working pressure should not exceed 1.6 Mpa.
During normal operation, the fan bearing temperature rise should not exceed 40℃.
Use the exhaust valve to discharge air before first operation and during seasonal conversion. Water temperature limits: Cooling ≥ 5℃, Heating ≤ 70℃.
In winter heating mode: Turn on heating for 5-10 mins before starting the supply fan. When shutting down: Close fresh air valve → Turn off heating → Stop supply fan.
Winter non-use: Drain water and dry with compressed air or add antifreeze. Short-term winter stop: Ensure hot water circulation to prevent freezing.
Clean filters regularly; check fastening bolts after one month of operation.
Comprehensive maintenance every 2-3 years: Remove scale, clean fins, and lubricate fan/motor parts.
    Frequently Asked Questions
    1. How should the unit be positioned during installation?
The unit must be installed horizontally. The condensate pipe side can be slightly lower by 0.5% to help drainage, but never higher.
    2. What are the water quality and pressure requirements?
The unit requires clean softened water for both cold and hot media, with a maximum working pressure of 1.6 Mpa.
    3. How do I prevent the heat exchanger from freezing in winter?
If not in use, drain the water and dry pipes with compressed air or add antifreeze. For short-term stops, maintain hot water circulation.
    4. What is the correct startup sequence for heating in cold regions?
Turn on the heating unit for 5-10 minutes before starting the supply fan to prevent ice plugs caused by cold air accumulation.
    5. How often should comprehensive maintenance be performed?
A comprehensive maintenance, including scale removal, fin cleaning, and lubrication, should be carried out every two to three years.
    6. What causes a decrease in air volume?
A decrease in air volume is generally caused by excessive dust accumulation in the filters, which should be cleaned regularly.
