KD(X) Series Ceiling-Type Air Conditioning Units - High-Quality China Suppliers & Factory with Efficient Air Solutions

,

Features and Applications

,

The KD(X) series ceiling air conditioning units are top-tier end-mounted air handling solutions designed for central air conditioning systems. Manufactured in China by reputable suppliers, these units offer comprehensive air treatment capabilities, including air filtration, cooling, dehumidification, heating, humidity control, and fresh air introduction. Ideal for various applications, particularly in small commercial and industrial buildings, these units enable efficient air delivery through ducts over moderate distances. The KD(X) series features 13 models and 39 specifications, with air flow rates between 1500 m³/h and 15000 m³/h, and cooling capacities ranging from 8.4 kW to 324.8 kW. These aesthetically designed units are available in white or blue, equipped with durable nylon filters. The heat exchanger is crafted with high-efficiency aluminum finned copper tubes, ensuring a substantial improvement in heat exchange efficiency through mechanical expansion.

    Installation of the unit

The air conditioning unit should be installed horizontally within the ceiling cavity. The side of the condensate water pipe is allowed to be slightly lower by 0.5% but not higher, to ensure the smooth discharge of the condensate water. There should be sufficient installation and maintenance space around the unit.
The condensate water discharge connected to the unit must have a water seal, and the water seal should have sufficient height.
The connecting pipe of the evaporator is inlet-down and outlet-up. A stop valve and filter should be installed at the inlet.
The air duct and water pipe connected to the unit need to be flexibly connected. The torque during connection should not be too large to avoid damaging the heat exchanger. The pipeline must have a separate support and the weight should not be borne by the unit.
The motor of the fan should have good grounding and reliable protection devices such as overload, overheating, and phase loss.

Operation and Maintenance of the Unit

The cold and hot media should be clean softened water; working pressure should not exceed 1.6 Mpa. During normal operation, the fan bearing temperature rise should not exceed 40℃.
Before the first operation and during seasonal conversion, open the exhaust valve to discharge air. Summer cooling water should be ≥5℃, and winter hot water should be ≤70℃.
In winter, start the heating unit for 5-10 minutes before the supply fan to prevent ice plugs. When shutting down, close the fresh air valve first, then the heating unit, then the fan.
If the unit is idle in winter, drain the coil and dry with compressed air or add antifreeze. Keep water in the heat exchanger during other seasons to reduce corrosion.
Clean filters regularly. Check fastening bolts after one month. Perform comprehensive maintenance every 2-3 years, including scale removal and fin cleaning.
    Frequently Asked Questions
What is the requirement for the unit's installation angle?
The unit must be installed horizontally. However, the side with the condensate water pipe can be slightly lower by 0.5% to ensure proper drainage, but it must never be higher than the other side.
What are the water temperature limits for cooling and heating?
For summer cooling, the water temperature should not be lower than 5℃. For winter heating, the hot water temperature should not exceed 70℃.
How do I prevent the heat exchanger from freezing in winter?
When not in use, drain the water and dry the pipes with compressed air or add antifreeze. During operation in cold regions, always start the heating unit 5-10 minutes before the fan.
What should I check if the air volume of the unit decreases?
A decrease in air volume is generally caused by excessive dust accumulation in the filters. You should clean the filters regularly to maintain performance.
How often should comprehensive maintenance be performed?
A comprehensive maintenance should be carried out every two to three years. This includes removing scale from the heat exchanger tubes and cleaning the fins with compressed air or water.
